Privacy
How this site handles your information
This policy describes what axtral.uk actually does today. It is not a claim that every legal obligation has been signed off by a solicitor.
TODO: publish the legal name of the trader or company, a postal address, and a company number or VAT number if either applies. Those details are not on file in this project, so they are not invented here.
Who to contact
The site is operated as Axtral.uk. For privacy requests email [email protected] or call +44 7577 552593.
Enquiries
The requirements form asks for your name, email, optional phone number, business or project name, and the details you choose to give about the site you want. You must confirm you have read this policy before the form can be sent.
Submissions are stored in a SQLite database outside the public web folder and a copy is emailed to [email protected] when the server mail function is working. The admin screen can mark a brief as reviewed or delete it. There is no automatic deletion date. Records are kept while they are needed to reply, do the work, or deal with a dispute, and you can ask for deletion.
The server stores a hash of your IP address with the brief so the form can limit repeat submissions. The raw IP address is not written into the enquiry record. A hidden field is used to ignore automated submissions.
Page visits on this server
If you allow analytics, the browser sends the page path, campaign parameters such as utm_source, and the referring site to /api/track.php. The database stores the time, path, referring host, a daily hash of your IP address and browser, and a hash of the browser string. It does not store the message you type into a form. This recording does not start until you allow analytics, and it stops if you reject optional tools later. Admin, API and script paths are not recorded.
Advertising
This website does not load Google Ads, a Meta Pixel, or any other advertising tag. Form submissions are not sent to an ad network.
Google Analytics is also off unless a measurement ID is added at build time and you allow page visits. If it is added later, it receives the page path and a lead event after a successful form submission, without your name, email, phone number, or message.
Payments
Hosting payments are taken by Stripe on Stripe's checkout pages. Axtral does not receive or store your card number. Stripe receives the payment details and the plan you select. See the terms for what the monthly fee covers.
Cookies and similar storage
The public site stores your privacy choice in local storage under the key axtral-consent-v1. That storage is required to remember whether optional tools may run. The enquiry form and the first-party visit log do not set a tracking cookie. The admin login, which is not linked from the public site, uses a strictly necessary session cookie.
No advertising cookies are set. Google Analytics cookies are set only if that tool is configured later and you allow page visits.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your enquiry, ask for a correction, or ask for it to be deleted by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you think your information has been handled unlawfully. This page does not limit those rights.
